Model Airplane Landing Strip: North Las Vegas

It has been over a year since I did any light painting or steel wool photography.  For a period of time I was addicted and ended up involving light painting in many of my shoots, eventually adding people in the mix.  My favorite type of painting with light is steel wool photography; the little "pyro" in me loves the trail of the sparks flying off the steel wool.  So I knocked some rust off, found a great location (a model airplane landing strip) and had some fun.  I tricked my white balance (thank you Gary Fong) before shooting to get the cool blue color in the sky.
